Interacting Particle Systems and NonLocal Equations 2020

Conference on Interacting Particle Systems, Non-local evolution equations and applications

Oxford Mathematical Institute,

This meeting, originally due to take place in June 2020 has been postponed. We hope to be able to hold the meeting at a later date.

This conference is focused on the interplay between Stochastic Processes, Nonlinear Analysis and Numerical Analysis applied to non-local Partial Differential Equations. The meeting is supported by the EPSRC grant EP/P031587/1: "Nonlocal Partial Differential Equations: entropies, gradient flows, phase transitions and applications" and is jointly organised by the EPSRC CDT in Mathematics of Random Systems and the EPSRC CDT in Partial Differential Equations.

The objective of the meeting is to encourage the cross-fertilisation of different perspectives in the applications of interacting particle systems across sciences and technology. Particular attention will be paid to recent applications in optimisation, sampling and control and phase transitions and collective behaviour models in biological systems.

This event is free for members of the University of Oxford and Imperial College London. The cost of attendance for others will be £40.
